Putrajaya often gets overlooked—but not anymore. IOI Resort City wanted to shift public perception and show just how much it has to offer. We worked with the team to craft a dynamic 3D Billboard that literally lights up the city with excitement, using our signature animation style to simulate a day-to-night transformation packed with entertainment, retail, and recreation.

The campaign aimed to reposition Putrajaya as more than just a quiet administrative hub. By showcasing IOI Resort City’s rich lineup of experiences—from shopping and concerts to pickleball and pet parks—we framed it as a vibrant lifestyle destination. The animated city burst into life with playful transitions, spatial illusions, and clever use of physical billboard space, resulting in a digital storytelling moment that was bold, immersive, and unforgettable.

Environment & Location: A stylized 3D cityscape based on real landmarks like IOI City Mall, Le Méridien, and Moxy Hotel; transitions from dark silhouette to vibrant nightlife.
Object Animation: Activity icons—pickleball rackets, cafe cups, ice skates, floatees—fly in and settle across the city.
Mascot Integration: Oli Oli, the IOI mascot, waves from the screen as the final gesture, adding a personable, festive charm.
Simulation & FX: Fireworks, animated crowds, vehicle lights, and a day-to-night city glow create energy and realism.
Lighting & Compositing: Nighttime lighting with streetlamps, signboards, and environmental reflections bring the entire billboard to life.
